Wines across the entire Lake Chalice range have been making an impression in recent months, picking up a raft of new gold medals, alongside a healthy list of silvers.

The NZIWS is the biggest wine competition in the country, with a large team of judges working under chairman Bob Campbell MW. The National Wine Awards is one of the country’s newest wine competitions and seeks to identify, celebrate and highlight New Zealand’s best wines.

Lake Chalice Winemaker Chloe Gabrielsen said it was rewarding to have such a range of wines recognised at these events.

“At Lake Chalice, each of our ranges is produced with a different vision in mind, however, they’re similar in that we put the same level of care and attention into each and every one. To have wines from each of our ranges recognised with either a gold or silver medal in these competitions shows we’re doing something right across the board,” she said. “We couldn’t be happier with these results.”
