Plume Pinot Noir 2019 | Six Pack
A rich, single-vineyard Pinot Noir from a hot, dry Marlborough vintage.
Grown on the Eyrie block, a river terrace vineyard in Marlborough's southern valleys, the 2019 season's unwavering heat gave small, concentrated bunches full of flavour. Made with 19% whole clusters and bottled with no fining or filtration, it's a rich, full-bodied Pinot built to age for a decade and beyond.
Tasting notes
- Nose: Gentle spice with dried berries, tobacco and a hint of toasty oak.
- Palate: Rich and full bodied, with concentrated dried fruit, red currant and dark chocolate. Silky but delicate structure, with red liquorice and warm spice on the finish.
Food match
Slow-roasted lamb shoulder, duck breast with cherry sauce, or a wild mushroom and thyme pie.
