A silky, full-bodied Hawke's Bay Merlot with dark plum and chocolate.
Grown across a select blend of Hawke's Bay vineyards and trucked overnight to our Marlborough winery, then hand plunged during fermentation for depth of flavour and matured in French oak and stainless steel. Deep ruby, bold and silky smooth, it's a generous red for cosy nights in.
Tasting notes
- Colour: Deep ruby.
- Nose: Blackberry, plum and vanilla, with a hint of spice.
- Palate: Full bodied and fruit forward, with dark plum, blackcurrant and dark chocolate. Silky smooth, with a long, toasty finish.
